CriA.On Science Communication Platform
An interactive prototype of this science communication platform focused on children and media has been developed, using the Adobe XD tool, and presented to the team leveraging it. Is has been approved and it is now under development by me, over WordPress – but requiring a source-code-level intervention to comply with the designed features.
A Survey of Tools Used for School-Home Communication
A survey of tools used for school-home communication, presented to preschool and primary school educators, was developed to sustain the work within the Media Lab course (prototyping of the object platform of this doctoral work) and the one conducted under Ana Figueiras tutorship (thesis plan sustaining). As it intended to be exploratory, a first step towards a better recognition of these patterns of communication, it was made short and distributed massively online. The educators were reached through Facebook groups of educators and by the batch e-mailing of schools. 179 responses were gathered, which are still being processed.
Interaction Design and Children 2022
I was accepted to participate in this year’s edition of the doctoral consortium of the Interaction Design and Children (IDC) ACM-SIGCHI conference, a reference one in the area of Children-Computer Interaction which will be happening in Braga, Portugal, between the 27th and the 30th of June. It is a great opportunity to learn from peers in this field and evaluate my current work plan.
